Where assessment of competency includes third-party evidence, individuals must provide evidence that links them to the airbrushing activities that they have carried out on vehicle substrates, e.g. work orders. Assessors must verify performance evidence through questioning on skills and knowledge to ensure correct interpretation and application. The following resources must be made available: automotive repair workplace or simulated workplace workplace instructions PPE required to apply airbrushing clear top coat refinishing materials airbrush spray guns and paint materials two different vehicle body panels or substrates specified in the performance evidence requiring the application of basic airbrush designs airbrush spray guns tools, equipment and materials appropriate for applying basic airbrush techniques to vehicle body panels. |
